- Medium Onion (diced)
- Green Pepper (diced)
- Garlic Cloves – minced (4)
- Chicken Broth (4 cups) (34 oz)
- Diced Tomatoes (1 can, 14 oz)
- Tomato Sauce (1 can, 15 oz)
- Italian Seasoning Mix (1 tsp)
- Salt (1/4 tsp)
- Pepper (1/4 tsp)
- Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (1/4 tsp)
- Dried Basil (1 tsp)
- Pasta Shells Small (2 cups)
- Percorino Romano Cheese (3/4 cup)
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (small package to be use as topping)
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in pot
- Ground Beef
- Onion
- Green Pepper
- Garlic
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Brown ground beef
- Add five dry spices
- Italian
- Salt
- Pepper
- Red Pepper
- Basil
- Cook for one minute
- Add wet ingredients
- Chicken Broth
- Diced Tomatoes
- Tomato Soup
- Bring to a boil
- Simmer for 30 minutes
- Add pasta
- Cook until pasta is tender (~ 15 minutes)
- Add percorino romano cheese and stir in
- Serve with mozzarella topping
